Google Messenger gets a new icon, interface cleanup, and preps for RCS messaging

Google Messenger’s leap to version 2.0 brings a number of changes that tidy up the interface and prepare for a world of better messaging.

The first thing you’ll notice is that the icon has been revamped, with a white message bubble inside of a dark blue circle. You’ll get the circular icon regardless of whether or not you have a Pixel. Check out this article from PCWorld.com
